10/5/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved Behavior: QMHPA arrived to the home of Ms. Brown. Upon arrival to the home, Ms. Brown appeared to be in a good mood evident by her facial expressions such as a smile on the face. Upon arrival, she did not present any symptoms of S/I. Intervention: QMHPA reviewed Ms. Brown goals and began reviewing anger management techniques to assist Ms. Brown with maintaining a positive attitude and good mood stability. QMHPA asked Ms. Brown how she and her sister had been getting along since QMHPA and Ms. Brown reviewed this last in a session and encouraged her to provide positive feedback and comments when discussing their relationship. QMHPA provided social support and encouragement throughout discussion and session. QMHPA continued to model appropriate communication skills and provided Ms. Brown with an opportunity to engage in the use of appropriate communication skills. QMHPA continued to stress to Ms. Brown the importance of maintaining that open line of communication with her family members. QMHPA worked with Ms. Brown on reframing from past experiences in positive light by instructing Ms. Brown to identify positive traits and characteristics about build positive relationships with her family. Response: Ms. Brown was receptive to feedback and information provided QMHPA. Ms. Brown was receptive to feedback and information provided by QMHPA. She was able to provide good mood stability and maintain a positive attitude. Ms. Brown required some redirection as she had begun to use inappropriate language when discussion the underlining issues with she and her sister. Ms. Brown agreed to tone down her language and participated in role play scenarios to assist her in identifying the issue amongst her and her sister and other family issues. Ms. Brown demonstrated understanding of the importance of maintaining an appropriate attitude and being considerate of others. Ms. Brown agreed to work on her attitude and try to apply learned strategies to assist her negative actions. However, Ms. Brown stated that she continues to struggle with applying the techniques during situations as she tends to forget. Ms. Brown was able to demonstrate learned techniques throughout provided scenarios; she mirrored herself and identified ways to better present her attitude.
